The Undula façade is a 3D-printed structural system made of cement mortar with curved, segmented columns. An integrated, computational design approach combines structural, material, and fabrication aspects. An advanced equilibrium model generates a globally stable network that is discretized into elements, enabling non-planar printing layers that precisely control force flow and joint geometry. The façade consists of two 12 m-long sections with a total of 48 columns, fabricated from 240 robotically printed segments. Accelerators and filament reinforcement improve early strength. Assembly uses dry joints with local prestressing, eliminating the need for formwork and demonstrating the potential of efficient 3D printing methods.
The elegant 3D concrete printing lounge in the reception foyer of the renowned company Umdasch / Doka in Amstetten immediately captures attention. Integrated power outlets are available here for visitors, making it convenient to charge laptops and mobile phones. The clever combination of high-quality leather and sturdy concrete gives this area not only an elegant but also a durable charm. The space exudes an inviting atmosphere, inviting both visitors and employees to enjoy a moment of relaxation and inspiration.

NEWS: Sensational Advancement in Our 3D Concrete Printing Technology
Thanks to a newly developed concrete mix and a refined printing technique, we have succeeded in producing print layers with an almost smooth surface – as you can clearly see in one of our first sample objects (see photos).
The texture is reminiscent of a ceramic surface.
Another significant advantage: Due to the optimized mix, the printed objects are at least 30 to 40% lighter than conventional 3D-printed concrete solutions – while maintaining the same surface stability and compressive strength.
Final quality tests are currently being conducted at the Technical University of Munich. Once completed, we will release this cutting-edge technology to the market.

3D printing technology is a globally revolutionary additive manufacturing process that, among other things, is successfully used in areas such as model and prototype construction, mechanical and automotive engineering, in the aircraft and space industry and in medical technology.
